With this special strain, the goal was to maintain the organoleptic characteristics that characterise the Zamal while retaining its incredible potency and mouthwatering flavours. In order to improve the entire offering, we simultaneously tried to introduce a more compact stature and a shorter flowering period. The captivating "Zamalmystik!" is the outcome of this vision and realisation.
We started our journey when we came across a Zamal variety that had been gathered in the Mafat area in the 1980s. This specific line had a wide range of traits in addition to a protracted flowering period that lasted between six and eight months. We used a deliberate crossbreeding procedure using a Dutch polyhybrid in order to accelerate blooming and produce a more compact plant structure. The result was an impressively shorter flowering time and more compact growth. Notably, there was a noticeable rise in the hybrid's potency.
We continued to be committed to making this combination flawless, which produced the incredible F5 generation. Here, we were able to maintain the desired characteristics and guarantee that the strain would exhibit them consistently. We brought the finished product we had envisioned to reality through a number of meticulous adjustments and comprehensive testing.
We were selective in our choice, letting only the one plant advance that perfectly captured the spirit of our initial goals. The selected specimen now matures in around 12 weeks and is the epitome of a fast-flowering Zamal. This sativa has a great yield and compact colas, which is uncommon for this type. Furthermore, the customary stretching behavior—which is sometimes viewed as excessive—has been significantly reduced to a level that is more tolerable.
